Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 2, 2026 · Last updated: August 13, 2026

1. Who we are

Kilonova Technology Company ("Kilonova," "we," "us") is a corporation organized under the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, incorporated on October 12, 2020.

This policy explains what information we collect when you visit kilonova-tech.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. What this policy covers

This policy applies to this website only.

Our products — Kilonova Orchestrator and DeclutterPayday — are governed by separate terms and privacy notices provided at the time you sign up for or use them. Visiting this website does not create an account with either product.

3. Information we collect

Information you give us. If you submit our Request Information form, we collect what you enter: your name, email address, the type of inquiry you select, your message, and your company if you choose to provide it. We also record that you agreed to us using these details to respond to you. If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.

Information collected automatically. Our website is hosted by Webflow. Like essentially all web hosting, Webflow's servers record technical information about each visit, including your IP address, browser type and version, device type and operating system, the pages you view, the site or link that referred you, and the date and time of your request.

We may also use analytics services to understand traffic patterns — how visitors find the site, which pages hold attention, and which do not. Where we use such services, they collect the categories of technical information described above and may set cookies or similar identifiers. We use this information in aggregate to improve the site.

We do not collect payment information, government identifiers, or special categories of personal data through this website.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

Our website uses cookies that are necessary for the site to function and to remember basic preferences. Where analytics or performance cookies are used, they help us understand site usage.

Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the site behave.

5. How we use information

We use the information described above to respond to your inquiry and send you the information you requested; follow up about our products where you have asked us to, or where we have a legitimate interest in doing so; operate, secure, maintain, and improve the website; understand which channels bring people to the site; detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

6. Legal bases for processing (visitors in the EEA and UK)

Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

Consent — where you submit a form or otherwise choose to give us your details, and for non-essential cookies.

Legitimate interests — operating and securing the website, understanding traffic, and responding to business inquiries. We balance these interests against your rights and freedoms.

Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose information to comply with applicable law.

You may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.

7. Who we share information with

We share information only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract, and only as needed to provide their service to us. These currently include Webflow for website hosting and delivery, our email provider for receiving and responding to inquiries and form submissions, and analytics providers where used, as described in Section 3.

We may also disclose information where required by law, court order, or valid governmental request, or where necessary to protect our rights, safety, or property.

8. International transfers

We are based in the United States and our service providers process information in the United States. If you access this website from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection law may differ from that of your country.

Where we transfer personal data out of the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.

9. How long we keep information

We retain form submissions and email correspondence for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and for a reasonable period afterward for business-record purposes, then delete or anonymize them.

Technical and analytics data is retained for a limited period and, where retained longer, in aggregated or de-identified form.

You may ask us to delete your information sooner — see Section 10.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you; correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete; delete your personal information; restrict or object to how we process it; receive a portable copy of information you provided to us; and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

Massachusetts and other U.S. residents. We honor access and deletion requests from any visitor, regardless of state of residence.

California residents. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request deletion or correction, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA.

EEA and UK residents. You additionally have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email contacts@kilonova-tech.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

11. Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, consistent with the Massachusetts data security regulations at 201 CMR 17.00.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Children

This website is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Third-party links

Our website may link to sites we do not operate. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be signposted on this page.
